Hi all, I have been searching for this and have not been able to find a clear answer.... I got the AVIC-280 Nav add-on to install with my AVH-X5800BHS. My question is the NAV system comes with 2 antennas, the GPS antenna and the TMC antenna. Through my search, I have found the GPS antenna can be mounted under the dash for a clean install as long as its mounted to metal, no problem there, my excursion has plenty of room under there dash. Now where to I mount the TMC antenna? Windshield? Instructions for the NAV system are very vague, and this is the first system I have ever installed. Thank you for your help.
