My Volkswagen got totaled out a month or so ago, and I had taken the faceplate off of my 4000 NEX before it was towed, because I didn't know whether or not they would total it at the time.  The car is long gone now, probably to a scrap yard, but I still have the faceplate.  Is it of any sort of use to anyone at this point?  Would it work for anyone else if I turned around and sold it, or are they matched to that specific unit and it's total junk at this point?

Sometimes no answer is an answer. Nobody knows. Put it on ebay and see what you find. There's all sorts of useless stuff for sale. Someone's junk is another's treasure.
