Now new firmware version is 1.18 for the Appradio 4 SPH-DA120. It can be downloaded from the European Pioneer website. Version 1.16 was not released for downloading, just for production.

Appradio 4 model sph-da120 is going bye bye. One of the big boys bought all the remaining inventory from Pioneer and they are discontinuing this model very soon.

Hi Specialtygreg,
does this mean the whole Pioneer car electronics section was sold? Who is the big guy bought them? Will new models be released instead? Will they continue the car radio business? One new model is AVH-Z5000(DAB), but this could be a model of the current and present line.
Thank you very much.
