I have an AVIC F60DAB and would like to update the firmware, mine is 1.08 and the newest one is 1.14, but in the menus, some of the points are grey and cannot be activated, what is wrong? And how do I fix this?

Several of my menu points are inactive, for example update firmware and reset the unit. I bought the unit from new about 2 years ago. I have tried to "reset" the unit with a needle, in the little hole at the front, but this doesn't help.

Sounds like the handbrake wire is not connected.

I'm sure the handbrake wire is connected, but I will check it out if it has disconnected itself
