So before I posted this, I researched and researched. I bought this unit second hand for a tow vehicle for my jeep. I went to install it and got "insert appropriate disc". Bought a disc and remote and got that fixed. Now all the audio functions are grayed out except radio. Researched more about bypassing. Moved the y/b and grounded, looped the light green wire to ground and inserted to other harness. Plus reset unit. Still same issue.. apparently I am not doing something right.
