Hey guys, if we could get the SD card from a 4100 or 4200NEX and stick it in the 4000 would that work?

what are you hoping to accomplish?

Just to have the features the 4200 has. I was informed that they both have the same hardware...

I would just like to know if it would work man. Just popping it in and booting it up.

I am no expert, but you can always download the version you want on a sd card and try it. I would think if it wasn't compatible, nothing would happen....maybe give you a "not compatible" message.

Ok cool thanks man. Do you know anything about backing up the image on the original SD to have a back up just incase it goes bad?
