I have a Avic-D3 installed on a 2007 F-250 Harley Davidson. The install went perfectly thanks to all of the invaluable information provided by this site, however I do have a few quirks I would like to resolve. First of all, is there a way to remove the improper brake line connection warning displayed when the unit is powered up? Also, is there a way to activate the rear view camera while in drive? I appreciate your help

If you are getting a warning, then something isn't hooked up right as far as the bypass. You moved the mute wire to the pin spot above it, then connect that wire and the one marked for the parking brake to a good ground? Make sure you set the moved wire in the pin spot good, it might be loose?

To activate the camera while driving. While on map page, press map and it will show different view options. Select the camera option and it will come on.

All I did was ground the brake line wire. Thanks, for the info.

Yup, that is your problem. Move that mute wire to the pin spot above it and then ground it.

Just to be sure, I need to move the mute wire on the Avic harness (not the Scosche harness)...won't that void the warranty on the unit if I need to send it in for any issues?

Move the mute in the avic harness. As for warranty no it won't void it. You don't send the harnesses in if you have to ship the system back. You only ship the unit itself.

Bypass works perfectly now...thanks! Is there a way to remove the warning message telling me not to operate the video while driving. I'm not liking the fact that I need to press OK every time I start my vehicle.
