4200 NEX F/W upgrade, any reason not to?

Just put a new 4200 NEX in my truck, I was curious if there was any reason not do the F/W upgrade.

Also, should I back anything up on this unit? I was reading some threads about doing this on other units.... Its all stock at this time.

I upgraded mine a week ago at install.. radio was stock. No backup; No issues.. took about 10 minutes start to finish.

Did they fix the USB / SD card file sort issues ?
