I am trying to connect a reverse camera to Pioneer avic-8200nex.

The RCA cable running from back to front has a short red pigtail on each side.

My question is: for the short red pigtail of RCA cable on the head unit side, which line I should connect to? Red, purple/white, or any other lines?

answer for myself:)

I did not use the red pigtail on either side.

Rear camera works just fine, ~3 secs delay after switch to reverse. 

Not sure whether the trigger wire connection will speed up a little, tired to go back to pull all out and in

that is normal

most factory backup camera video shows up immediately after switch to reverse though
