how do you reset the Z1/Z2 after changes were made to the HD? I don't think that it updates itself and checks for any changes.

All in the manual, appendix A I believe.

4 levels:

1, recessed button to the right of eject.

3 and 4 are hold map while the thing boots I think.

You would want to check the manual and it will tell you how to do the reset and what gets wiped out.

It's going to take a complicated program to not only re-encode the mp3's into AT3's but then create the play list files and load them into the drive correctly.

This was thought about back in early 2006 and so far no one has cracked the format, although rage2 says he is close.

hope someone can do it soon. I think it would be better if someone can hack into the Z1 so we can access all the features. from the looks of it. this unit can do alot more then what we have so far. .gif as a wallpaper would be a killer.

From what I've done and tested. not only are the songs converted but the title as well. Listed as track01 and so no when looking at the HD.

We need to find away to get into the BIOS of this unit to see and do other mods.
