I had my Z1 mic wire cut and need to order another one. Best buy has a garmin mic for their navigation system that will fit in the avic-z2 plug.

 

Do I have to order the 40 dollar pioneer mic because of its specifications or will any mic that has the same plug work?

 

Any input would be great. Thanks
