My AVIC 8200 NEX does not show usb or hdmi as a source. I tried resetting unit but no change.

does it not show them at all or are they greyed out? When you touch the down arrow after pushing the home key, do any of the inputs show up. Do any other inputs show up? 

All inputs show up except HDMI and USB.

They are not grayed out they are just not there. I did a reset but no change. I was wondering if  bypass made them dissapear. I also tried applying parking brake, but no change.
