Backup camera guidelines on by default?

I have the c2550-NEX. I have to touch the guidelines icon each time I put the car in reverse. Is there a way to make the guidelines on by default as soon as I put the car in reverse?

FYI: I am using the Pioneer's guidelines, not the camera's guidelines.

did you ever figure this out? I have an AVIC-8600 NEX and have the same issue.

should be in the settings to have it on.

Did u try to reverse the settings of the camera from ground to battery and vice versa?

I did, and that did not work. I can manually turn the lines on, but by default they are off.
