What is the difference between the two. I have the z1 and I purchase the SIR-PNR1 for 14.00. I have a friend looking to get the SIR-PNR2. I was curious to hear the difference b/t the two unit.

The PNR2 added the ability to remember like 10 songs and prompt you when they came on any of Sirius' stations. It also added game alert or whatever sirius calls their Sports thing.
No audio or display differences between the two

So if I didn't care about these little reminders, I could use a cheap PNR1 on a new AVIC N4 with the same interface as the newer one? Please?

The alerts only come on the station you hear the song on, for example, you hear "Stronger" by Kayne West on Sirius Hits Channel 1, it will only prompt you to "jump" to that song if it is being played on channel 1.
