Anyone else have this oddity? I just have experienced the second episode where my steering wheel remote buttons cease to function. Everything else works just fine. last time I checked all the connecitons and they we OK. Reprogrammed the interface, and re-installed; checked OK. Yesterday for no apparent reason they stopped working again.

I'm not thrilled about having to dig everything out every six weeks.

lolololol FUCK PAC!!!

you can search for my post on swips if u want but ive got 2 cars doing the exact same thing. did you use the RAP from the swican like i did? if so then whenever it messes up your deck wont turn on.

for my 06 ram i moved the swips and the swican to under the dash so that i can lay on my back and program it whenever it feels like fucking up.

on the 300c i doesnt happen as often

ive contacted pac and they told me to purchase the chry 05 or something like that. i told them that the peswips and the pe swican claim in their manuals to be stand alone and even show how to wire them without the chry05. the tech had nothing for me so i told him to go screw.

i think we just gotta live with it man

mine did it alot at first and it would eventually correct itself without re-programming it....but it has worked right ever since, up until just the other day, where it got confused and was doing the wrong functions for each button...again...it corrected itself

granted mine is a GM..... :?

I got the SWI-PS for my Z1/Ford Fusion.

The directions called for a 100 resister.. They give you a 150, so I used that. I hooked it up as the directions stated - but my buttons arent doing anything.

I didnt have time to troubleshoot yet - but has anyone else seen this? I programed it to 9 and it blinked 9 times.

Is there anything that I have to enable on the z1 to use the wired remote?
