Hello all, 

Can some explain what the major difference is between these two units? I can find the 8400 for about half the price of the 8500 is there any reason I would want the 8500 over the 8400? Can't seem to find a straight forward answer to this.

I'm upgrading from an old Avic-F900BT.

I think the difference is the weblink support (pretty useless feature imho), so just go for the 8400.

8500 has weblink and parking lines on rear camera

Thanks for the replies. Do they both have wireless apple carplay? I was reading somewhere that the 8400 doesn't but can't seem to confirm.
