has any one tried to use an xv6700/htc phone with the cd-btb200??
BT and Xv6700
I got a AVIC-D3 and CD-BTB200 Bluetooth option installed on Saturday in my 2008 Honda CR-V EX. I have a Verizon xv6700 that I use with it.
When I picked up the car after the installation was complete, I could not pair the XV6700 with the system. The salesperson could pair his phone just fine, so I let it be. I saw it working with another phone, so I figured some playing was in order. My wife and I kept playing and finally got it to pair. Once paired, I registered the phone so I could direct connect later if I had to. I can't tell you what I did exactly to get the phone paired. It just happened once.
All of the basic functions work fine once the unit is connected to my phone. It does not connect to my phone automatically when I turn my car on. I have not figured that one out yet, so I keep direct connecting my phone when I get in the car. It's a pain, but it works. I have just recently discovered that if I have not connected the phone to the D3 and I receive a call, the phone connects automatically and I can pick up the call through the D3. It just doesn't connect automatically when I place a call through the phone.
Installing Jetware Mobile's (www.jetwaremobile.com) nice little application on my XV6700 allowed me to send my contact to the unit, as well as other things.
Hope this helps.
