Anyone knows if Avic N3 is the same as X1 mod. sold in Europe. Could you uppgrade a N3 to a X1 with scandinavian languege?

They are not the same. Different tuner that doesn't do even-numbered frequencies or RDS. It wouldn't take the nav disks either from what I have read on previous posts--maybe if you completely reflashed it through the service menu but that is a total guess

You mean the N3 doesn't do rds right? Because my N3 certainly doesn't.

I bet your N3 doesn't do even numbered tuner frequencies either, that was the point. In Europe, Pioneer's do. In the US, they don't

Even numbered. 106.4, 92.6, 100.8, etc. US doesn't do that

Have somebody tried to reflashed it through the service menu?
I know the radio has some problems but my main conserns is the navigatoin. DeCo wher do you live, and have you done reflashing?
