I'm thinking of buying a used AVIC-N2 with the ipod connector. I have this setup with my wife's AVIC-D2, but the screens are very basic and not as good as the newer models. Does the AVIC-N2 display the more advance screens? Or should I opt for the AVIC-N3

N4 obviously is the best and biggest. The N3 will still give you the better XM display and ipod than the N2

The N4 has a way better Ipod screen. The N2 ipod screen sucks. It shows nothing. I wish there was a way to upgrade the n2 for Blue tooth and Ipod menu. I have the N4 in my Escalade and the N2 in my lexus ls-400

Don't believe its possible to upgrade the N2->N4. Pretty huge hardware change

Better off going for the N4. I had the N3, got rid of that for the N4 and it was $500 cheaper than what I paid for the N3. And what a difference!!!!!!

Well I need to sell my AVIC-N2 so I can upgrade to an N-4. Any offers?

Its in excellent shape, been in my lexus almost 2 years
