Difference in harnesses between D1 and D3?

Hey guys, I currently have a D1 installed in my Subaru WRX along with the XM receiver. Does anybody know if the harnesses/connections are the same between a D1 and a D3? I'd like to be able to keep my XM receiver, and add the newer ipod adapter, and the bluetooth adapter. If the harnesses are the same I could simply pull out the D1, and replace it with the D3, eliminating the need for me to rewire the whole thing.

BTW, here's a gratuitous shot of my interior. :)

Nope. Different harnesses. Your rewire will require cutting about 12 wires, and re-connecting them to the same color ones on the D3 harness

Ok, that's easy enough. If they are color-coded it should be a no brainer.

I like the Defi setup, I was thinking about those but the cost was a bit high for me, after the UTEC, exhaust, swaybars.......

I actually sold the DEFIs that you see and switched over to amber 60mm gauges, along with an STI cluster. This is one of the main reasons for me wanting to switch over to the D3, for my ability to match the STI cluster/amber defis.

These cars are definitely very addictive, and expensive to mod. Here's my current project I'm working on:

Fully built STI long block

kelford AVCS 272 cams

Perrin GT35R kit

Hydra

Hydramist

Perrin EL headers

Koyo radiator

Perrin fuel rails

Dual walboros

SPEC c intake manifold (no tgvs)

JDM 12mm oil pump

I'm sure i forgot a million other parts, but we are shooting for 550awhp with this setup.

I went with autometer gauges and a modified factory gauge pack, I used the red bulb covers and have my D3 set to red.
