I just installed D3 using the CARPI connector and none of the steering wheel controls work!

(I bypassed) Am I correct in grounding the mute button or does it also have to tap into another cable?

Reverse, VSS, Illumination all seem to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Never seen one of those Carpi things in the US...Maybe they don't work here.

Are you sure you plugged in the little headphone looking thing in the correct hole? It says wired remote input on it
