For the last couple of days this week, for whatever reason, it has happened 2-4X where the HU will make all the audio souces incredibly low and garbly. The 1st time it happened, I though the HU went bad - Avic Z1.

I stopped and started the car again, and the problem went away.

Today would have been the 4th time.

Once I stopped and started the car, all audio sources were fine again.

However, my Sirius tuner is not being recognized by the headunit anymore.

I have since * stopped and started* my car multiple times since this morning and the Sirius tuner is not being recognized at all anymore.

Anyone familiar with these symptoms ?

It's the Tuner, this happened to me with my SIR-PNR2 with my current Pioneer unit. It played once, turn off/ turn on, then it wouldn't. Luckily it was within a few days of me receiving it and I got a new one from Crutchfield and my new one has been fine ever since.
