whenever i play ipod thru the cd-i200 audio is fine when yo'ure doing on screen operation, but when i switch to ipod video and operate ipod to use video i get no audio, the ipod displays on the screen and if i switch from a movie to a song on the ipod still using the ipod for full operation i can get audio... anyone know how i can fix my audio problem with video setting on ipod

if it helps i have a 30 gb video i believe 3rd gen.

when you play the video on the ipod, does audio come out of the earbuds? the only thing i can think is maybe the videos were encoded wrong. not that it matters, you don't have a 3rd gen video ipod. if you do not have a search function for music, you have a 5th gen. if you do have search, it is a 5.5
