anyone have any experience with this backup cam? got one thrown in as part of an order and im curious as to the quality...

I have this camera and LOVE IT!!! ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!

I too have this Camera and love it.

Only Complaint was that the Wire was too short for my Saturn Outlook.

Just had to go to Radio Shack and Improvise!!!!!

BOYO is Good Stuff

I have the VTL420 which is the same just in black and it works great with the D1. The wires reached the length of my Toyota Sequoia with just a few inches to spare.

How long was the cable?

I will be installing one on my Crew Cab long Bed pickup... Should be about 17ft from the dash to the bumper.

I cannot remember exactly how long the cable was but I ran it from the license plate (obviously) to the rear of the avicD1 in the Sequoia. All three wires (video, power, and ground) are run at the same time. You could contact Boyo directly through email and they should respond within a day or so. That will give you the best answer. I emailed them asking about their product and received a response within 24 hours.

Mine is in an 01 Expedition, and I had PLENTY of wire left over
