I have a avic d3 and cdx-p1280 cd changer, however I can't get the head to read the CD information. Is this possible? Hopefully it is. It seams rather silly for it to not. Am I suppose to remember ALL CD's in order as well as the order for ALL the songs on the CD's? Please help.

IIRC you have to program the titles in. The AVIC-Z1/2 has GraceNotes built in, but that is doing you no good. So the short answer is yes, you are supposed to remember the discs and the order you put them in.
