Have a D1 that has been working great, but now it will not eject, and the face will not move. When the eject button is pressed, it beeps like it should, then nothing happens....any ideas?

Sent the unit in to Pioneer for service. Sounds like the faceplate drive motor has gone out.

Mine does this from time to time and I remove it and tap on the bottom near the front and it starts working again. It usually does it every other month or so but it only takes two minutes to pull it out and tap on it.

Mine does the same thing i hold the reset button and the power button at the same time and when it resets it works again

where exacty are the POWER and RESET buttons... im not looking at my unit right now, but I cannot for the life of me recall seeing any button reading POWER or RESET. please HELP??!?!

I would like to know this, because mine has frozen up on me like that 3 or 4 times in the last 8 months...

also some hacks require use of reset button... and im lost.

use the src button and the reset button hold reset and src for about 1min and you should be ok

Pushing reset sucks because I loose all my settings. Do you guys know about a more permanent fix for this?

I know you have probebly fixed the problem by now but this is for the people who are searching the forums looking for answers.

My D1 started doing the same thing today. I could hear the beep when I pressed the Open button but nothing would happen, but later on tonight when I went back, it was working like nothing had happened. My strong guess is HEAT. It was around 65ish this morning and by noon it was 68. If this happens to you, enjoy the CD that you have in there and just wait for your unit to cool down.

it will start to do that and just stop opening all togeather..has to be sent in for repairs.. mine has not opened since my last post
