D3 w/ HTC 6800 bluetooth not working — AVIC411 Forum Archive

I just completed an install for a client and can not get his sprint HTC 6800 phone to link up with the blutooth. I got my razor to link but not his phone. I have reset both the head and Bt unit with no luck.

any help would be great,

i am having the same problem with my D3 and Sprint HTC Mogul (6800). My razor sync'd just fine, but the D3 says "Invalid Device" with the 6800. I just tried JetWare with no luck. Any body got any ideas?

I'm having similar issue with pairing my LG VX 8100. My phone detects it but it won't pair up. It pairs up with a Razor. I went and had the firmware updated and it still did not resolve issue.

When pairing, make sure that only the hands free feature is enabled. Any other BT features, ie: Wireless Stereo may interfere with pairing.

i was able to get the phone paired up. there is a "show phone" feature that needed to be turned on in the settings of my phone. the only problem now is that it disconnected when i turned off the radio and now wont connect. i've never had so many problems with bluetooth in any other head unit.
