I did the bypass without the download and it works great ??

you do not need the download on the newer units.

I did not need to down load any thing . I just did the by pass and it worked fine . We did this to two units and both are working fine .

You might need to reset the unit !

Yeah, you're not giving us any new news... it's well known that newer models have the software update for the bypass already installed.
