I have an 07 Ford edge with an AVIC D3. I have a PAC controler module for my steering wheel controls. I have noticed that sometimes my down button works and sometimes it doesnt. All the other buttons work great though. Any thoughts. I really dont want to take it to the dealership. Maybee I have a bad box or something?

reprogram it, be sure to watch the indicator light when you do sometimes if you go to fast it doesnt always register. also if it is one you have to use a resistor or ground a wire be sure to solder those on, as sometimes the resistance isn't 100%.

I've had this happen also. One moment "some" of the buttons work, some of them don't. Then a few minutes later, all them work. I think it is an issue with the hardware and not the programming or hookup.

Problem with the hardware. Yikes. Im glad i paid someone to put it in also if it is a hookup prob or something with a resistor or something. Its the volume down that doesnt work all the time. I guess im not too worried about that.
