i have D3 and ipod nano.but why when i input the ipod screen doesnt so ipod, ipod icon is gray cant touch.Could someone tell me why, of course i have ipod adapter.it's new mode

d3 or any pioneer units for that matter will not reconize(sorry i cant spell) an i-pod cable being connected. they will only see that source when there is an i-pod actually connected.

if for some reason your i-pod is plugged into cd-1200 cable and still no source option then you need to check your connection at d3

so i have to set up adapter again, or what i have to do. could you tell me more detail

dude what im sayin is that if the actual ipod aint pluged into the cd1200 cable the d3 will not let u select ipod as a source

You have the wrong adaptor. The AVIC-D3 takes a CD-1200 to control/charge/listen to an Ipod. Take the other one back, man-slap the salesman that sold it to you, and get the right cable.
