I just put mine in my 03 F150 Supercrew which I believe shares the same dash as the Expeditions and Navigators. It's not too difficult, but you do have to make a couple of minor cut out modifications to the mount behind the dash. I can send you a pdf tutorial if you're interested.

you do not have to modify anything in the navigator. its a piece of cake. you may have some issues if you have the rear seat entertainment system from the factory
