I just had the z2 installed and the install looks factory. I had given the installer the info on grounding the 2 wires and the cd. When the z2 starts it tells me the brake is bypassed but as soon as i move i lose the picture but as soon as i stop the picture comes back. It appears to be directly related to the gps. The unit was manufactured in 8/07.

I need to bring the car back to the installer on Monday and hoprfully this can be fixed then.

Do you know what they did wrong and how to fix it?

They either didn't ground one of the wires, didn't move the pin to the correct location, or the pin didn't seat in the hole properly. Its not difficult, just tell them to follow the instructions found here
