Hi,

I know the vss is grey/black in harnes but how do i connect?

i dont understand how to use the pink connector that came with it, can i pull out of harness and splice?

i installed mine on a f150 too so i know what im talking about. the pink connector that comes with it has two slots for two wires. the slot that is open on both sides is the side the vss wire goes in. the one that is closed on one side is for the wire from the headunit. you put the two wires in and close the clip around them. it pinches them down into the metal therefore joining them. You could pull it out but it is much messier.
