Tracking your car with AVIC-D3

I have recently installed an AVIC-D3 head unit in my car (I love it), and I was wondering if it was possible to ever locate my car using the GPS in the head unit.

Off the bat, I would think not, but my mom has an S430 Mercedes with the factory GPS, and AAA Insurance lowered the rate on her car and counted it as a a security device because they could track the car if it was stolen.

Is this possible for my car? I would love a break on insurance (I'm 18 years old driving an 06 Eclipse GT V6) and the peace of mind.

Thanks.

Nope, you could buy a Lo Jack for that

No, you would need a separate system for this as it needs to connect to something to relay the informations

Yeah. For that to work, the system would have to have some sort of transmitting device. Which it doesn't.
