2005 Sonata No Sound

Finished installing the D3 in my wife's 2005 Sonata including the bypass. Bypass worked great! THANKS to all those here who made that possible!

My problem is I have no sound to the speakers from any of the sources: DVD, XM, iPod, FM, etc. I have disconnected all sources except for the Head unit itself, did a hard reset, and still have the same problem.

The grounds are all good, re the mute, brake wire (not break  ), I have double checked all speaker polarity and the like.

I have read in other places, and possibly here, that the Sonata may have a power amp for the factory sound system. Can anyone confirm this? There is a 20amp fuse in the box under the hood that says power amp; so this make me think so. However, In my reading it says that the amp, if there is one, would be in the trunk on the pasanger side. I have checked the trunk and I don't see an amp. (Then again, I am male, and can't see the remote control that is right in front of me on the coffee table).

If this answer is somewhere on the forum, I did used the search but came up with nothing.

Thanks in advance.

OK, yes there are stupid questions!

After MORE digging, there is indeed a factory power amp. Traced the light green lead on the back of the factory connector, attached it to the D3, and LIFT OFF!

Hope this helps some other noob.

Again, GREAT forum. Thanks for all the great resources.
