Has anyone installed the z2 in this car. From what I've read on the net the new Saab radios are a GM product and no longer use the fiber optic system. Before I rip apart my new car I'd like to hear from someone else. Any help would be appreciated.

well I think I have finally found a harness; In SWEEDEN! So now when it comes I can get started

haha....I also got this same harness....from Greece, but made by Pioneer.

I know it was a long time ago you posted but was your install successful? Did you lose any functions such as warning chimes and park assist chimes?

Just got an Avic 900FBT and am being told that I will lose the above functions but wondering if this advice , although offered with the best of intentions, is correct? Install into 2008MY Saab 93 Aero saloon.

Any help appreciated.
