is the new software worth losing the vid bypass ability? i know the way to open it up and solder but i don't wanna do that.... do the new discs really have that much info? the avic i'm getting has the new software on it but i CAN reflash it and just do the simple regular avic n1 bypass.... which i wanna do... but does the new software REALLY add that many more things or what?

dont even try dude, i updated to cndv-70 mtp and i get all the annoying pop up screen. there are alittle more feature in the new 70mtp, but i rather have my n1 1.1 so i can watch movie while in motion.

i think the new 70 mtp has 3 different skin for the gages, 3 animation screen saver, and etc.

so i decided to flash my n1 back to normal.

does it have any different maps and such?

Does this happen to it even with the bypass? if so is there any way around it? Because I just had mine upgraded to the cndv-70 mtp but have not had the chance to install it yet in my car

you have to open up the avic head unit and do some soldering to fix it after you update the discs... pm me for more info
