I'm new to this forum and I am seriously thinking about getting a Z1 or Z2. My concerns are how well iPods work with either model. Do I have to use Apple's video format in order to watch videos on the AVICs? Does the video fit on the entire screen? Can you save video files on the AVICs' hard drive? Thanks.

you will have to run the video through the av input. the ipod interface for the z series does not support video. it will fit the screen. no you cant save video files to the hd

I had he installer add 3 rca jacks connected tothe aux input and can run anything thru that. I have a creative zen and the movies and music play fine.
