I have the DMH-WT7600NEX and the iDataLink Meastro in my car, and when I click track forward or reverse from the steering wheel, it sends 2 commands. Is there a setting to ignore the second command or is there something I need to do on the Meastro? 

Try updating the firmware on the Maestro. Stop at the step to program the buttons. Carefully check the dropdowns for each button. Maybe the newer firmware alone will fix it, but it never hurts to check all possibilities.
