I would love to change the splash screen. I don't care if I have to jump through hoops. Is there any way? Can I jailbreak the unit or go through a developer menu to change the splash screen? I noticed other units have an option in settings, but mine doesn't. 

We shouldn’t have to mod. Why would pioneer remove the splash screen! It’s so clean to add a photo of your car brand at start up looks like a OEM radio in my other two cars with a pioneer 4400NEX
