Does the Z2 allow you to customize your Boot screen?
I hope so, the Z1 does not allow this feature.

it does, you can change boot screen, background for the different menus as well.

Yes it does BUT it puts a PIONEER overlay at the top of your screen anyway. 
To remove this banner you have to go into the hard drive and rename or remove the default bmps.
