I just bought an AVIC Z2 and I love it. The only thing I don’t get is its text to speech feature. It does not say all the street names I turn to, just the major ones. Is there something wrong with my AVIC? Will it learn to say the street names all on its own in time? If not is there a way for me to manual add the pronunciation on the street names that it does not say myself? Thanks guys.

I would like to know the answer as well. It would be nice if it would read out every street.

Text to speech was the main reason I bought the Z2 over the eclipse double din but after installing the unit I realized that it only did main streets. I hope there is some type of update which could fix that.

Here is my observations...

When you have the map set to the lowest setting .1 Miles, it will say more streets then if you have it set to .5 Miles, or above.
