I have a z1 installed in my 07 charger. The unit will not power off or go into night mode when I turn the headlights on. When I disconnect the connectors from the rear of the unit and do a soft reset, the unit will work properly for about an hour. But after that, it goes back to day mode and will not power off. Any ideas what is wrong?

It sounds like you might have some wires switched. You may have the battery (constant) connected instead of the ingition.
