I have a d3 installed in a 07 ford sport trac. The stock radio remained on after you turned off the key and shut off when you opened the door. I lost the function when I installed the d3. Can't think or any reason why the function would have been lot. Anyone got any ideas.

no everything was stock before the change

It happens when you take out the factory radio, and install aftermarket with certain wiring harnesses. The denali and many other vehicles lose that option also along with the chime.

ill take a wild guess that the accessory wire is hooked up to ignition by mistake turning the radio off wen you take out the key. it should be hooked up to accessory

nero - used a adaptor wiring harness from Crutchfield. everything worked fine. only wire not used was the blue antenna wire. the 12v switched went right to the switched on the d3. don't know anything about a accessory wire?

My D3 stays on in my Ford til I open the door so it must be the harness or the wiring
