why cant i see the video on my D3 with the cd-i200 hooked up to my ipod video? i touch the video tab on the screen but it says *use ipod for full service* and its shows the screen all black.

You have to press play on the ipod for videos

I do press play but only the Ipod shows the video playing and i can hear it on my car speakers but the D3 screen is still all black.

Turn TV OUT on the ipod to ON. Also reading the D3 manual would help.

Thanx for the info. I am looking and playing with my Ipod and can't find the TV OUT setting anywhere, any reason for that?

hmmm, yeah its video Ipod 5.5 I think. If it has the search setting then it is a 5.5 right? Still can't find the TV OUT but I am not giving up yet, lol.
