I have an AVIC-Z2 installed in my 2002 Prosche 911. The accuracy of the navigation unit is horrible. I installed the GPS under the remote cover on the dash like a few other members had posted.

However, the accuracy is horrible. It is almost always totally off and not sure what is wrong. I realized after install that I didn't hook up thye VSS wire....could this be the cause? If not, other ideas?

Also, anyone familiar with where the VSS wire is on a 2002 911?

vss should be gray/pink under driver seat control module.

And did you put the antenna on something metal?
