Well a buddy of mine recently sold his Avic D1 to someone and told the kid that it played dvds. My buddy thought it played dvds and the kid didn't even research it or anything to make sure, he just took his word for it. Now my question, what should my buddy do? Give the guy his money back? Also, is there anyway to mod the D1 easily to play dvds without buying a shitload of other stuff? Thanks!

It can't play dvds. Either give the money back or buy the kid a dvd player

Well it will play DVD's thru a player like a DVD Changer. So its not like he was lying to the guy. Unless he said it would play DVD's from the Headunit.

Thanks for the replies everyone. My buddy just told the guy it plays dvds, so I guess now he just needs to tell the guy to buy a dvd player for it. Can you guys recommend any specific dvd player that will be pretty cheap and work well with the D1?
