Could anyone recommend some decent speakers for my ride. Anyone who has done installs on similar vehicles.

jl audio made speakers that drop in, vr 570 cxi, I dont believe they are made anymore but if you search the net you can find them, I got mine for 150 bucks a pair.

I had alpines, but they did not sound all that great. I ended up adding an amplifier as well as a subwoofer.

I just put some polk db 5.25 components in mine sounds great off the deck, I had to surface mount the tweeters on the doors though.
