no problem, thank you for starting this great web site..
as soon as someone posts reliable info on a bypass i will then install the z1 and start hacking on the hard drive.. although i got a gut feeling that the bypass will have to do with the hard drive softwhare.

what are you showing circled in the 4th picture and why?

I've been meaning to pull mine back out to look at the same thing you are asking about.
This may be where Pioneer connects to the unit to do the inital programming.
9 holes, perhaps it is a jtag.
