I have an AVIC-Z1. When I first got it I was able to pair it with my Verizon Treo 700P in about two minutes. It worked beautifully.

 

I found someone on this forum to send me a disk with the AVIC-Z2 image on it. I installed the new disk and booted into AVIC-Z2. That also works beautifully. But when I went to repair with my Verizon Treo 700P again, it no longer pairs. My friend had a different kind of phone (not sure what model) and it also will not pair.

 

I'm confident that my hardware is installed properly because the blue tooth worked okay with the AVIC-Z1 firmware. There is something about the AVIC-Z2 image that isn't letting the Treo 700P pair properly. I'm not sure what to do.

 

Does anyone have any ideas?
